Nepal - Mohare Danda Trek (12 days)

Mohare Danda takes you to the peaceful off beaten path in Annapurna's foothills. Mohare Danda Trek is newly discovered hiking route in Annapurna region to promote sustainable ecotourism of Nepal and to support the local community projects that play a pivotal role in the overall upliftment of lifestyle of local and native inhabitants of people from here. This trek is popularly known as Eco Community Lodge Trek. It is the best choice for those enthusiasts travelers who have a short time to explore unlimited cultural and natural beauties of  Nepal. Mohare Danda trek provides the closet view of massif mount Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges from Mohare hill station at an elevation of 3300m above from sea level. You can also view the glorious sunrise and sunset views over the glittering mountains from the viewpoints such as Mohare Danda and Poonhill. Trp to beautiful off the beaten site of Annapurna region bounded by hills, mountains, rivers, and forests of Oaks, Bamboo and Pine is truly an incredible experience. Simply once is not enough.

This itinerary is a guideline only and we will follow the itinerary as far as possible but due to weather conditions, health conditions, natural disasters and other unfavorable phenomenon your guide might decide to amend or cancel the itinerary for your own safety. Welcome! to Kathmandu Nepal. Asian Heritage Treks & Travel Representative welcome you at the Airport with your nameplate.  After Arrival at Nepal airport transfer you to the hotel. On the way Airport to Hotel, you will pass by the Open cremation Place (Pashupatinath temple)Royal Palace Museum i.e NarayanhityGarden Of Dream and reach the Thamel. Your hotel will be in downtown of Touristic Hub. Our representative will facilitate you and discuss your travel itinerary. There will be enough time to stroll through the street of Thamel. Overnight accommodation in a hotel.

After Breakfast Our tour guide will come to pick you up along with the driver and vehicle.  Firstly you will be visiting the UNESCO world heritage site Kathmandu Durbar Square where you can observe the typical wood carved temples and buildings reflecting the ancient Kathmandu city.  After then we will be heading towards Swyambhunath- the monkey temple where you can observe the religious harmony and tolerance between the Buddhist religion and Hindu religion along with that enjoy the panoramic view of Kathmandu city and the Himalaya ranges from here. After that you will be visiting the Pashupatinath Temple, one of the biggest pilgrimage site for the Hindu religion people in south-east Asia, explore the surroundings and you can observe the ritual body cremating ceremony process of the Hindu people at the bank of holy Bagmati river and then visit another pilgrimage site nearby to the Pashupatinath Temple known as Guweyswori Temple, explore the surroundings and then you will go to visit the another UNESCO world heritage siteBoudhanath Stupa. It was built in 600 A.D. and is the only one of a kind of stupa reflecting Buddhism in the world.  Explore the surroundings of Boudhanath Stupa and after completing your sightseeing get back to the hotel and rest.  Overnight accommodation in a hotel.

Today, we will drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara. On the way, you can enjoy the greenery around and beautiful hills. What attracts most visitors to Pokhara is the richness of the valley with its pure and natural beauty. Just imagine the joy of observing the majestic Himalayas, reflecting its shadow on Fewa Lake and the cleanness of Pokhara city.  The Pokhara valley is equally outstanding, giving as they do elevated closeups to the snowy peaks. Pokhara is famous for sightseeing, mountain views, and many adventurous outdoor activities.we will visit Davi's Waterfall, Ghupteswor Mahadev, International Mountain Museum, which are the major attraction for sightseeing in Pokhara. Overnight at hotel in Pokhara.

In the morning, our team will pick you up from the hotel and transfer you to Galeshwor along the bank of Kali Gandaki river which takes about 3 hours. Start trekking to Bans Kharka for about 3 hours. From Galeshwor, you will be mostly ascending up and on the way, you will be crossing the suspension bridge over the deepest gorge "Kali Gandaki river" and then your path will take you through the lush green forest and after some decent hike you will reach to bans Kharka. Overnight at community lodge.

Our destination for the day is Nangi. It is about 6 to7 hours walk from Bans Kharak to reach Nagi which goes along beautiful villages, stunning views of mountains and impressive landscapes. We also visit organic farm school and Magar settlement on this day. Overnight at eco-community lodge.

Continuing our trekking, we reach our destination i.e. Mohare Danda. The trail goes through beautiful forests of Oak and Rhododendrons with magnificent views of mountains such as Mt. Fishtail, south Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Tukche and many more. In the evening, you will observe a glorious sunset view from Mohare Danda station and after completing your sight seen get back to eco-community management lodge. Overnight in eco-community lodge.

Wake up early in the morning to enjoy the sunrise view and crystal clear views of mountains such as mount Fishtail, Dhaulagiri I, Dhaulagiri II, Tukche, South Annapurna, Nilgiri, and others. Afterward, start your trek towards Deurali. Today your trail will lead you through the gradual ups and downs until you reach to Ghorepani. It is about 5 hours walk to reach Ghorepani from Mohare Danda. Upon arrival check in the lodge and have rest. Overnight in eco-community lodge.

You will begin the trek to Poon Hill (3210m) in the early morning to catch the first ray of sunlight. The pleasant sunrise at Poonhill trek passes through culturally rich villages that are set against the background of majestic mountains. Along with sunrise view over Mt. Annapurna, Poonhill also offers panoramic views of several mountains including Annapurna and Dhaulagiri Mountains. You will return and have your breakfast at Ghorepani, and then commence trek to Ghandruk village. As the trail moves across a group of flatlands, forest, cultivated lands and a suspension bridge over Khumnu Khola, you arrive at the scenic & beautiful village of Ghandruk after hiking for 6 to 7 hours. A supreme vantage point in this pristine & serene village offers breathtaking views of Annapurna South, Gangapurna, Annapurna III, Machhapuchhare, and Hiunchuli. Several hotels and teahouses at the village give us a warm welcome with sincere Nepalese hospitality while catering to the requirements of all trekkers’ who hit the trail through this village. Camping in its terraced fields give you the open wild feelings of adventure. Overnight in eco-community lodge.

Today is the last day of our program. After breakfast, you will descend down to Nayapul and to reach to Nayapul it will take you around 5 hours. Following the trail paved by stones; you will walk through some beautiful villages and terrace framings. After crossing Modikhola, you will reach to Birethanti. And then half an hour walk from Birethanti, you will enter Nayapool and from here, our private vehicle will be waiting for you. On reaching Pokhara, you will be transferred to your hotel. Overnight in a hotel.

You will drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu. On the way, you can see the beautiful hills and slopes. Later, you can stroll through the streets of Thamel for shopping. you can also buy souvenirs for your friends and family. overnight accommodation in a hotel.

Today, you will visit two ancient cities near Kathmandu, Patan, and Bhaktapur. In Patan, you will be visiting another UNESCO World Heritage sites: Krishna Temple and Patan Durbar Square. Later on, visit the Patan Museum, where you can learn more about the history of Patan and the kings who reigned here. Later, visit the Golden Temple, a major attraction for the both Hindu and Buddhist people, and Banglamukhi Temple. In Bhaktapur, you will be amazed by the architecture, as until today the city has been able to be kept intact in its old form. You can observe the old wood carved buildings all around Bhaktapur and then you will visit another UNESCO World Heritage Site, Bhaktapur Durbar Square. Explore the surroundings and afterward visit the Nyatopola Temple, one of the biggest temple in Nepal. After completing your sight seen get back to Kathmandu and check in hotel and have rest. Overnight in Hotel.

Have your breakfast early in the morning and our office representative will come to pick you up at the hotel to transfer you to the airport regarding your flight time. Have a safe journey onwards.
