Another challenge could be the Himalayan weather, which is notoriously unreliable. Even if the days are nice and pleasant, the nights can be bitterly chilly. The weather is constantly changing, especially during the monsoon and winter, and there is a considerable chance of extreme climatic conditions. Waterproof hiking boots, a raincoat, a thick down jacket, and a four-season sleeping bag are all recommended during monsoon and winter.
