During a Ghandruk hike emergency

If something goes wrong on your Ghandruk hike, don't worry, our trekking guides have basic first aid training. He is capable of dealing with the minor illness that occurred throughout the journey. Because there will be wifi and the guide will have a cellular phone, he will be able to readily contact us. If you become ill or are involved in an accident, we can arrange for a helicopter rescue.

We'll need your full insurance information for this, and we'll work out the details with them. You will be escorted to the hospital, and a guide will assist you with any other issues that may have arisen.

Pokhara to Ghandruk by Jeep

If you wished to charter a jeep from Pokhara to Ghadnruk, you may now do so because there is a dust road close to Ghandruk hamlet. You can walk to the village for around 30 minutes after the car stops. If you wish to go on a longer trip, you can start at Nayapul or drive to Kimche and start the trek from there, which is about an hour and a half walk. Starting the Ghandruk hike from Nayapul will take you roughly 5 hours.

There are shared jeeps and buses accessible from Pokhara; jeeps are faster and simpler to ride on the rocky road than buses. If you are a group of friends or family, you can also hire a private jeep. You can trek or take a jeep to Ghandruk; just let us know and we will make the necessary arrangements. You can also take a private car to Nayapul and begin your adventure from there.

The Jeep fare from Pokhara to Ghandruk is around USD 10 per person, depending on group size. A private jeep will set you back USD 110. If you use a local bus, the cost is roughly USD 3 to 4 per person. The cost of driving to Nayapul is USD 45.

When is the ideal time to go on the Ghandruk trek?

Spring Season

The greatest time to go Ghandruk hiking is in the spring. It lasts from March to May on average. This season is distinguished by lush greenery, a clear sky, and cool days. Spring temperatures range between 20 and 30 degrees Celsius on average. During this time of year, the roadways are generally congested. As a result, finding lodging becomes difficult. The coldest month is March, and the warmest month is May.

Summer Season

Ghandruk trek's summer season lasts from June through August. In the summer, the weather is extremely hot. However, because it is a hilly terrain, it is manageable. This season, you can go on hikes in light clothing. Rain, on the other hand, is a potential issue in the summer.
