An unforgettable trek along the Pikey Peak trail, with memories that will last a lifetime. A truly amazing and unforgettable adventure on the Pikey Peak trek with the truly wonderful, patient and attentive guide Chandra from Asian Heritage. I did the trek solo as a (slow) 35 year old and felt safe, and no question was silly before or during the trek. I experienced wonderful and unforgettable sights through the Himalayas, seeing the Everest peak was such a highlight as well as rural Nepalese life. The monastery on day 4 was also a magnificent wonder.

Dagtour Kathmandu Rechtstreeks geboekt bij Asian Heritage Treks and Expeditions. Nilam, de eigenaar, is een geweldige vent. Spreekt zelfs een aardig mondje Nederlands. Er zijn veel hoogtepunten in Kathmandu. Het is een indrukwekkende stad. Dan is het fijn als er iemand is die jou van alles kan vertellen over de locatie waar je bent en aan wie jij vragen kunt stellen. De reisgids kan daar dan geen antwoord op geven. ;) Mijn gids Devi was zeer kundig en een goede verteller. Hij weet verschrikkelijk veel van de geschiedenis en het Boeddhisme en het Hindoeïsme. Hij wist mijn aandacht vast te houden en mijn interesse te vergroten. Asian Heritage zorgt goed voor zijn klanten, samen met hun chauffeur en gidsen. Ik voelde me door hun gezien en behandeld als een vriend i.p.v. een commerciële klant. Ik ben met een zeer mooie ervaring weer naar huis gegaan. Als ik ooit terugkom, dan zeker via Asian Heritage.

Great Mix of Culture and Nature We did the 11 day Nepal Highlights Tour and were very fortunate in being the only two travellers (many cancellations due to the war in Iran) - so we basically had a bespoke tour of Nepal. All of our guides were excellent - they were very knowledgeable and tried to make each experience as interesting as possible. Our driver was extremely capable and we felt very safe travelling with him. We are an older couple (70's) and our guides adjusted the level of exertion needed for each activity accordingly. This tour is a good mix of cultural (temples, birthplace of Lord Buddha etc) and environmental (Chitwan NP). Our only disappointment (and this was not the fault of our tour company) was the poor air quality, which prevented us from seeing any of the Himalaya. Accommodation was basic, but all had ensuite bathrooms and provided breakfast. We would definitely recommend Asian Heritage Treks and Expeditions for first time travellers to Nepal, and to seniors.

Perfecte rondreis in Nepal Asian Heritage heeft voor ons een prachtige trip door Nepal georganiseerd. Hoewel we al vaak in Nepal zijn geweest, had Nilam ook voor ons weer nieuwe en verrassende uitstapjes geregeld. Perfect trip through Nepal Asian Heritage prepared a wonderful trip through Nepal for us. Although we have visited Nepal many times before, Nilam arranged new and surprising excursions for us once again. Prive tour through Nepal We had a great trip through Nepal with our private driver. The driver was great and the guides were very knowlagable. We were able to see all the amazing things Nepal has to offer. ALso, the contact we had with Nilam (owner) was perfect. Fascinating Nepal After comparing various travel proposals, we chose Asian Heritage. We have chosen to take an individual tour to have as much freedom as possible. Mr Nilhari Bastola was very flexible in helping us create a travel plan that met all our wishes. Early November, we flew with Thai Air via Bangkok to Kathmandu. The administrative procedures for entering the country went very smoothly. We had already arranged our visas in Belgium, that is not strictly nescessary, but it speeds up entry to Nepal. At the airport, we were met by a representative of the tour operator for our transfer to our hotel in Kathmandu. In the evening we had an appointment with Mr. Nilhari Bastola to arrange a few practical matters, such as exchanging dollars to rupees, exchanging mobile numbers, and a brief briefing on how the trip would proceed. The following day, the tour started. Together with the driver and the guide, we started our tour in Kathmandu and continued as planed. Almost every day Mr. Nilhari Bastola inquired about our experience regarding the progress of the tour. On a few occasions, in consultation with Mr.Nilhari Bastola, we made changes to the program during the course of the tour. At the end of the tour we were very satisfied with the way the tour was managed. Looking back on our Nepal tour we are more than happy that we chose Asian Heritage. The way we were approached by the management was fantastic.

Is booking a trip with Asian Heritage safe?

All bookings and payments are made through the safe booking system of our partner Wetravel. This allows us to provide fully secure and SSL-encrypted payment. We accept the following payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, JCB, Diners Club, UnionPay. Your payment is safe and the details of your payment method are never visible to us and third parties.

What happens after I pay for a trip?

Once you pay a deposit, your booking is made. We will review your booking and send a payment confirmation. You can make any changes to your booking via your Wetravel account. You will receive an email with all details about this. Prior to your trip, we will send you a booking confirmation with all details of your upcoming trip.

How can I pay the outstanding amount?

Upon booking your trip, you can choose to pay a deposit, or the full amount. If you choose to pay a deposit, you will receive notice when the next payment is due. All payments can be safely made through our trusted payment partner Wetravel.

Can I change my booking?

If you wish to change your booking, this can be done by contacting us. We will always respond within 24/hours to help you with your request.

Can I cancel my booking?

Of course it may happen that your plans change. In case you wish to cancel your booking, you can contact us by email or phone. We will discuss your cancellation options and refund your trip based on our cancellation agreement.

Is Nepal a safe tourist destination?

Nepal is considered safe for tourists, and amongst the safest tourist destinations in Asia. Anyone, including Solo travellers and woman can safely travel through this destination. People in Nepal are friendly, warm-hearted and very welcoming.

As with any foreign destination, it’s important to take necessary safety precautions and to be aware of potential risks. Petty crime, such as pickpocketing and theft, can occur in tourist areas, so it’s important to be vigilant and protect your belongings. Natural disasters such as earthquakes and landslides can also occur in Nepal, so it’s important to stay informed about local conditions and to follow the advice of local authorities in the event of an emergency.

Can I get a tourist visa on arrival?

Yes, you can get a tourist visa on arrival for Nepal. The visa fee and the duration of the visa depend on the nationality of the traveler and the duration of their stay in Nepal. Visitors from most countries can get a visa for 15-90 days.

- Fill in ‘ Arrival Card ‘
- Fill in the Online ‘Tourist Visa ‘form ( you can fill it up prior to your arrival by visiting our official website Department of Immigration / fill it up using Kiosk machines upon your arrival at the airport). If you fill it out from the website, you will get a submission Receipt with a barcode, please print it out and bring it along to acquire a visa. It works for fifteen days and becomes invalid after. If so, you will have to fill it up again.

- Make payment at the bank according to your visa requirement ( 15/30/90 Days)
- Get the receipt
Receive your visa

- Proceed to the Immigration Desk with your online form, payment receipts and your passport
- Hand in your documents to immigration officer for visa processing. He/she issues visa to you upon his/her satisfaction.

While you can use different modes of payments (at visa fees collection counter), we advise you to carry some cash to be on the safe side.

What is the difference between a group and private trip?

In general, we offer two types of trips, group and private trips. (almost) all tours can be booked as a group trip, or private trip. When booking a group trip, your trip will be combined with travellers that booked the same trip, on the same departure date. In case no other travellers booked this trip. Your trip will become automatically a private trip (with no extra costs).

If you wish to have a guaranteed private trip, you can choose for the private trip option upon booking your trip. All custom trip enquiries, will be private too.
