White Water River Rafting in Nepal
 
White water rafting in Nepal has its own joy and adventure as our clients has experienced. Different rivers holding rocks and white stream, one can enjoy this beautiful adventure as our guides will also be there to train and show how to move to such vigorous stream of river. Some of the Rafting Packages can be seen below which are both for experienced as well as new adventure lovers.
 

Rafting on Trishuli River [ 2 days Itinerary]

Day 1: Drive by private vehicle or tourist bus takes approx. 2.30 hours from Kathmandu to rafting put in point Bairani (Trishuli River). Then rafting Total rafting for about 3.30 hours, Lunch will be served half way of rafting trip. in the evening set up overnight camp on the river beach in Malekhu Blue heaven

Day 2: After Rafting continue rafting down the Trishuli river again then you encounter some of the challenging rapids make you feel the real enjoyment of whitewater rafting. Lunch will be served after rafting. This day rafting for about 2.30 to 3.00 hours, then ready back to Kathmandu.

Rafting on Trishuli River [ 3 days Itinerary] 

Day 1: Drive by Tourist bus or by your own vehical takes approx. 2 hours from Kathmandu to rafting put in point Bairani or Charaudi depending of the season (Trishuli river in monsoon we start from Baireni and in autumn and spring we start from Charaudi.  Lunch will be served half way of rafting trip. Total rafting hours: (2). In the evening, overnight camp will be setup on the river beach.

Day 2: Some of the challenging rapids make you feel the real enjoyment of whitewater rafting. Lunch will be served half way of rafting. Total rafting hours: (5). In the evening, overnight camp will be setup on the river beach.

Day 3: Beautiful scenery, friendly rapids of class III+ and warm water make your rafting day exciting and memorable. After lunch drive to next destination from rafting take out point of Trishuli River. 

Cost includes:

  • 3-meals per day to be prepared by our experienced cook;
  • Full rafting gear (life jacket, helmets, lightweight plastic paddles, camera box, necessary barrel); camping gear (two-person tent, mattress, toilet tent)
  • supporting field staffs
  • professional rafting guides and safety equipment.

Cost Excludes: 

  • Personal expenses such as Sleeping bags laundry, telephone calls, alcoholic beverages, bottled drinks (including cold drinks and mineral water), donation and tips etc.
  • Travel / medical insurance and emergency evacuation cost.

Rafting on Kali Gandaki [ 3days Itinerary ]

Rafting Distance: 60Km

Rafting days: 3 days

Grade: III - IV+

Best Season: Autumn and spring

Day 01: Drive to the put-in point of Kali Gandaki, it is about 3 hours away west from Pokhara by private  transportation. Up on arrival trip preparation - have a lunch, safety brief, change clothes, pass your packed gear to load on boat and start rafting and overnight camp.

Day 02: Morning breakfast, change clothes, clean up campsite, pass your packed gear to load on raft and start rafting, on the way of trip have a lunch, continue rafting and overnight camp at river beach.

Day 03: Morning breakfast, change clothes, clean up campsite, pass your packed gear to load on raft and start rafting and end the trip, have lunch and drive back to Pokhara.  

Cost includes:

  • Private transportation to the put in point and after rafting

  • 3-meals per day during the trip (first day self-breakfast and self-dinner at last day)

  • All rafting gear and safety kayak in each trip.

  • Well-trained professional raft guides and safety kayaker.

  • Camping gear like tents and mattress, cooking utensils and foods

  • Camera box, wet suit and water proof bags for multi-day and remote trips.

Cost Excludes: 

  • Insurance of any kind -travel / medical and emergency evacuation cost
  • Personal sleeping bag (can be arranged on extra cost of US$ 1-2 per day)
  • Alcoholic beverage including bottled drinks (soft drinks / mineral water)
  • Personal expenses such as tips, telephone etc.

Sun Koshi Rafting [ 10 days rafting trip on the Sunkoshi and Tamur Rivers ] 

Days 1-7: Early in the morning drive from Kathmandu to Sunkoshi River (confluence of Sunkoshi or Dumja) will take about 3 hours. Safety is our primary concern so your river guide will instruct you about commands and safety instruction for teamwork.  It is our priority to make your trip both safe and fun.  The first day rafting will be about 3 hours. Then continue rafting will be on the Sunkoshi River every day 04 to 05 hours and camp at riverside.

Day 08: After short rafting on Sunkoshi, drive to Mulghat for the next day full action of Tamur rafting.

Day 09: Tamur Rafting from Mulghat to Tribeni confluence of Sunkoshi and Tamur river.

Day 10: Short rafting trip to the take out point Chatara.  Lunch will be served here before leaving for Kathamndu

Tamur Expedition 

Day 01: Fly to Biratnagar meet one of our guide at airport and arranged transport by our company and drive 6-7 hour journey to Basantapur, or Deurali the trek starting point and over night camp. 

Day 02: You will start a three-day trek after breakfast into the heart of eastern Nepal. This day we camp at Chauki for overnight camp.

Day 03: Trek from Chauki to Guphapokhari enjoying the views of local life and culture. 

Day 04: This day is the final day trekking of your entire trip to “The best of the East”. You will trek from Guphapokhari to Gorja having the great views Himalayan range of East Nepal and its natural beauty.

Day 05: Goja to Dovan Trekking approximate            

Day 06: The white water action begins this day. Your leader and raft guide will brief you about the safety and the commands as well as trip preparation. You will encounter a class III - IV rapid today and overnight camp on the riverside. 

Day 07: After breakfast commence rafting -some of class II – IV rapids and passing through villages and spotting wildlife will be encountered this day and overnight camp.

Day 08: Rafting from Kabeli Dovan to Hinwa Dovan experiencing with great class II to IV rapids and overnight camp.

Day09: Rafting from Mulghat to Triveni, the confluence of Arun, Tamur and Sunkoshi, this day is total adrenaline day you have several rapids III - IV+ and more.                        

Day 10: Finally your trip will end at Chatara and After lunch transfer to Kathmandu.

Cost includes the following Services:  

Transport before and after trip by bus, Best quality self-bailing inflatable raft, Whitewater safety helmet, modern plastic paddle, neoprene-wetsuit, PFD-lifejacket, Dry top Jacket, Waterproof Container/Barrel for camera and valuables things, Dry bag, First-Aid Kits, Tents/mass fly sheet and sleeping mat, other necessary camping gear, Cooking utensils, hygienically prepared food and drinks, transfer before and after Tamur expedition.
