Highest
Peak of the Earth THE EVEREST 29028 feet / 8848
meter
Everest Expedition via South Ridge Route
A
trekking tour to the Everest Base Camp starts from
either Jiri 188 km. Eastward of Katmandu or Lukla
just 45 minutes fly from Kathmandu. As you trek
ahead from Lukla, you will be passing Namche Bazaar-densely
populated by Sherpas and a trading junction of this
region; Tengboche-world famous monastery, Lobuche
and finally approach to the base camp from where
out expedition starts. Generally, Everest is being
scaled through the four different routes. Among
them East Face is normal route and if you follow
this, four camps to be made to summit the mountain.
If you follow the South West Face need to have six
camps and is the hardest one.
Camping at high altitude needs careful planning.
The site must be as safe as possible from avalanches
and tent must be anchored firmly enough to withstand
gale-force winds.
In spite of the harshness of life at high altitude,
one is constantly aware of the unbelievable beauty
of the landscape. Views across distant mountains
in unforgettable in the clear situation. Everest
is an impressively beautiful place if one can ignore
the piles of rubbish from several decades of mountaineering
expeditions.
Asian Heritage treks &Expedition (p) ltd. suggests
you to allow three months for your whole trip depending
upon your physical and climatic conditions.

PUMORI
To
the Northwest of Nepal lies the fascinating country
of the legendry Sherpas. In this land of mountains,
Pumori stands aloof and proud as if aware of its
intense effect on the valley below. From the smaller
summit belonging to Kalapathar to the sparking slopes
of Pumori there appears to be a path that leads
to the very sky. Pumori, this incredible pyramid
of snow and rocks, is indeed the pride of the Solo
Khumbu.
Pumori is generally considered to be technically
challenging and requires climbers to be experienced
as well as in faultless physical condition. For
one such climber this mountain could become the
most rewarding challenger in the Himalaya.
Our trek kicks off at Lukla. For the actual climb
we will use the classical route, which was first
opened by a German -Swiss team. We climb the enormous
southeast slope till the junction with the north-east
ridge. This route requires the least amount of technically:
but is exposed to objective dangers: an avalanche
prone section and a section exposed to sera fall.
The Base Camp is at an altitude of 3500m while the
advanced camp is established at an altitude of 5900m.

TREKKING
PEAKS
ISLAND PEAK
Island Peak also known as Imja Tse is one of the
most popular trekking peaks in Nepal for climbing
on Himalayas. The combination of Everest base camp
trek and Island Peak climbing is probably the best
trip in Nepal adored by adventure seekers. From
Dingboche the mountain is seen as an island in a
sea of ice. Imja Tse not only provides an enjoyable
climb but also provides some of the most spectacular
scenery of Himalayas in the Everest region. Seen
from the summit the giant mountains, Nuptse (7,879m),
Lhotse (8,501m), Lhotse Middle Peak (8,410m) and
Lhotse Shar (8,383m) make a semi circle in the north.
The views of Makalu (8475m) in the east, Baruntse
and Amadablam in the south add more charm in climbing
Island Peak. For many mountaineers climbing Island
Peak marks the beginning of climbing on Himalayas
to prepare for a big Himalaya expedition in Nepal
in the later years. For some mountaineers the peak
stands for the purpose of acclimatization before
heading to bigger mountain climbing. Trekking to
Kaalapathar or Everest base camp is best suited
for acclimatization before proceeding to the climbing
on Island Peak.
The normal route for climbing Island Peak is South
East Flank & South-West Ridge Normally, the
base camp is set at Pareshaya Gyab (5,087m), between
Imja Tse and the lateral moraine of the Imja Glacier.
Proper care should be taken to avoid the possible
avalanche in the event of heavy snow fall. For some
people reaching to the summit from the base camp
is a day activity. However, most of the climbers
prefer alpine style camping at high camp, which
adds the joy of climbing and also helps a safe ascent.

MERA PEAK
Mera peak climbing is gradually becoming popular
among trekkers and novice climbers to have the feeling
of hiking and climbing on snow and experiencing
trekking in remote part of Khumbu region. The Peak
itself rises to the south of Everest. The ascent
of the peak is technically straightforward, however,
the heavy snow and the maze of crevasses can make
the way longer to the summit. Besides the charming
of climbing Mera Peak , the trek to its base camp
from Lukla is rewarding for experiencing little-visited
and yet un-spoilt region of Nepal with densely forested
hill sides. Mera Peak trek and climbing servers
a gate way for high altitude trekking to go over
Amphulaptcha Pass or Mingbo La and also for climbing
on Baruntse, Chamlang and other Himalayas climbing.
There are several approaches to the base camp besides
the easy and normal route, which is mentioned below.
The normal route for climbing Mera Peak is North
Face Glacier from the Mera La. The base camp can
be set up at 5,300m on the Hongu side in the moraine
below the ice. Normally, high camp is set at 5,800m
near a rocky outcrop on the Mera Glacier. The high
camp proves to be one to the spectacular viewpoints
in Nepal offering the panoramic views of Kanchanjunga,
Chamlang, Makalu and Baruntse sweeping around from
the east and Amadablam, Cho Oyu and Kangtega to
the west. The giant faces of Everest, Lhotse and
Nuptse appear in the north.

Pisang Peak climbing is the most popular among the
trekking peak climbing's of Nepal in Annapurna region.

combine the popular classic Annapurna circuit trek
with Pisang Peak climbing to have the taste of climbing
on Himalayas in Nepal . The peak rises above from
Pisang village and yak pastures in a uniform slope
of ice and snow to the final summit pyramid. Pisang
peak is considered one of the easy climbing peaks
among the trekking peaks in Nepal . To reach the
base camp from Pisang village, the path ascends
through sparse wood and pasture to a Kharka at (4,380m)
which is considered the best place for setting up
